Full Access and Coordinated Transportation, or FACT, celebrated its new office location in downtown Oceanside with a community open house on May 25.

Members of the FACT board of directors and staff members welcomed guests. Laurie Edwards-Tate, President of At Your Home Familycare and FACT board member was on hand for the open house to greet the public. Edwards-Tate said, “It was exciting to be a part of FACT’s progress and history today.  Helping FACT fulfill its mission providing seniors, persons with disabilities, and social service recipients with  access to coordinated  transportation throughout our county is an honor and responsibility I take seriously. As a home care provider in San Diego County for 27 years, I am aware of how important filling this critical need truly is.”

Open house guests included board members Phil Monroe, FACT Board Chairman and former Coronado City Councilmember; Theresa Barth, Encinitas City Councilmember; Dave Roberts, Solana Beach City Councilmember. Also in attendance were Oceanside Mayor Jim Wood, Oceanside City Councilmember Gary Felien, Floyd Willis, AIS, County of San Diego, and LaVonna Connelly, MSW, Ramona transportation advocate.

FACT’s new home in downtown Oceanside is conveniently located at 600 Mission Avenue, just blocks from Oceanside City Hall.
