El Cajon, CA. July 25, 2013 – Laurie Edwards-Tate was among proactive CAHSAH colleagues expressing grave concerns about the future of home care, the ability to serve seniors and disabled, and the disastrous effects of AB 1217 (Lowenthal), and AB 241 (Ammiano) if voted into law.

Senator Joel Anderson and his staff were generous hosts, listening empatheticaly to key issues, and engaging in purposeful group discussion.

According to Edwards-Tate: “The Home Care Town Hall experience was energizing, and I was left with a sense of gratitude for being among committed colleagues, and for Senator Anderson’s genuine interest.”

Follow Laurie Edwards-Tate over the weeks ahead to learn more about AB 1217 and AB 241 and how you might help.
