Japan has its own version of the Baby Boomers! This is “LifeCycles” with Laurie Edwards-Tate, President, At Your Home Familycare.

In Japan they are called the Dankai (DONN-KHY) Generation. They are eight million people born from 1947 to 1955 right after World War Two. They are just starting to hit 65.

They think of themselves as youthful and have lots of spending power. They love technology and don’t like products for “old people.”  They are positive about what lies ahead and say they have more to accomplish. Our cultures may be different but Boomer attitudes seem to be universal!
