In a recent CareerBuilder poll, seven in ten workers 55 or older have younger bosses. A younger boss might think that older workers are not as quick with technology. Not true, but Baby Boomers usually prefer face to face communication. If you are a boss with older staff members, get up from behind your desk. Look them in the eye and talk to them.
If you’re an older worker, someone younger has skills you can learn from. Adapt to each other and you can bring out the best you both have to offer.
