We all have reasons for ignoring symptoms. This is “LifeCycles” with Laurie Edwards-Tate, President, At Your Home Familycare.

But several common symptoms can indicate serious issues. Pay attention and call 9-1-1 without delay if you or a loved one experiences any of these:

  • Chest pain or pressure, or shortness of breath…
  • The worst headache of your life…
  • Coughing up blood…
  • Severe abdominal pain…
  • Weakness on one side of the body…
  • Sudden loss of vision or double vision…
  • Loss of consciousness, even briefly…
  • Sudden confusion or difficulty speaking…
  • Swollen lips, tongue or throat…
  • Incontinence…
