September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness month, an ideal time for increasing public awareness about this devastating disease.

Prostate Cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men, primarily affecting men who are over the age of 50.

The American Cancer Society estimated in 2012 that “241,740 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 28,170 men will die from prostate cancer.”
